Friend Mindy arranged a fire station tour for the other day, so we met up with a bunch of our little friends for a morning of exploring Station 8. It really was probably Q's dream come true (so. many. buttons. in one place!).
I think there are few things more entertaining than seeing a bunch of little people running around, because toddlers - they're just miniature people, & not baby blobs any more. I like this phase (hello newborn, in just a few weeks!).
Q wouldn't take his hat off for the rest of the day. Firemen really are so, so nice.
(Also, we learned - thanks to the station being at least 10 degrees warmer than it was outside, which is saying that it was very warm - that Q is a sweater. Poor boy. We probably should have just hosed him down afterwards.)
Time for a snooze. He was spent.

Oh Mama-to-be, you look so cute! I'd accuse you of glowing but you'd probably deny it an say it's the TX heat.
Which, by the way, you weren't kidding about your poor kiddo being a sweaty guy!
You are so good at documenting- especially my cankled, swollen, vein-y legs and arms:) In all seriousness, your blog is a treasure. Q is adorable, I can see why that wall of yours is filling up- too many sweet pictures of him!
do your texas friends realize how lucky they are that you have your camera on you at all times? and that you're good? you just kindly remind them of that. and for now i'll just let my jealously takeover and pout for a while.
