If I could bottle the smell of Priest Lake I'm sure I would make millions. It remains my favorite place on the planet, although it is dreadfully far away from the city. I try to not look at maps very often, as it is a painful reminder that my family lives next to the other ocean! I can't wait until I have the flexiblity to go home more often. Pure peace is most definitely sitting at the end of the dock with my toes in the water... preferably in August when it isn't so chilly! It was so nice to go home in June- sadly only for a few days, but it was home nonetheless. It was drizzly for most of the weekend, and I didn't even make it in the water- but I still loved being there to recharge my batteries and see my family.
