Our fifth summer in New York & we finally made it to the US Open. Lots of fun & perfect weather, although my new & bright watch tan line proves that maybe sunblock was actually required. The crowds were large but polite, & the food ridiculously overpriced but actually quite good (we avoided the $8 cracker jacks & went for the savory & sweet crepes instead). The matches that we were able to watch were exciting (especially Oudin's match, which we watched on the big screen). So fun to be there.
