Don't worry. We're fine. It wasn't terrorists. Mike could have been in the area on his commute home, but got on the subway a little later because I asked him to go buy me tampons. He's now safe & sound on a bus on his way home. I'm sitting here watching the news & there are about a dozen people in the hospital. We just heard that someone has died.Sigh.

I am sure that was a scary thing, I would be extra sensitive to anything resembling a terrorist act if I was a New Yorker as well. Glad it was nothing of the sort.

Kera, there was an explosion in NYC down by Grand Central... if you click on the link ("it wasn't terrorists") you can read an article about it...
No subways tomorrow, but we are otherwise safe & sound.
Kelli- we timed it out. The pipe exploded at 5:59 or something- Mike would have been just in that area. Good thing my lady friend came along today...
Thank goodness for periods...and one very good husband who is willing to buy supplies for his needly wife!
