I got home {late} last night & found this in my living room, along with Josh Groban's Noel {still obsessed} playing in the background. We weren't going to get a tree this year since we have a nice, long trip to Spokane planned, but Mike decided otherwise & bought a tree this weekend while I was gone. Hooray! It's a perfectly small tree for our perfectly small apartment. Our tree last year was almost as cute, although it kept falling over. We're hoping for better luck this year. Mike waited to put the ornaments on until I got home so that we can do it together, but did give me my first Christmas gift- Our "annual" Christmas ornament {we buy one with the date on it each year}. This time- a locket with our picture in it. So cute. I'll have to post a photo.

Oh Mike...what a guy. By the way, I wrap with that same paper. I bought it last year (or the year before) and still have a ton left! AND, we do the ornament exchange every year, too! I love holiday traditions.
