I want an alternative to Shade shirts. I know they are a necessary evil, but I want something softer, lighter & with better seams. I can't find anything. ModBod shirts are too heavy. Layers Clothing doesn't really have something that compares. DownEast has some, but I've never tried them & don't know where to start. Any ideas?
In the meantime, I want the Shade shirt above in that color {I rarely wear blues, but I think maybe I should}, but I'm not an XS so I'm out of luck via the website. Grr.

I wear Shade a lot, but I'm with you - I would like something lighter! Especially in the summer months. I hate feeling like I'm wearing 50 layers of clothing!
I like Shade too. But, I haven't worn any of the "other" brands. I think my sister in law Jen likes some long t's from Nordstrom that are lighter in weight actually though.
idea, just start your own modern modest clothing line. you'll be rich.
You could get away with the XS... I do, and I'm not as tiny as you! But I'm with Kera... I think you should start your own line. And then give us discounts.
I am so with you on this one. I get so sick of the neck line. I have tried the downeast brand, but it is more of the same, heavy with thick seams. I think there is one called Eclipse, but it is just another knock-off as far as I know. Please update if you find something.
Oh, and if you do start your own, please vary the neck lines. ;)
