Sometimes it seems sort of silly to buy something that you'll only burn, but I love candles. However - I'm pretty picky about scents (& bras, & jeans, & pens I use, & hairspray, & just about everything else), so when I found this candle (in mulled wine) I had to snatch it up. It's making me quite happy tonight, & that's absolutely worth $16. I think I'll go back & stock up before they dissapear post-holidays. .
I had a fun day (just wait - think the MoMA & two crazy girls playing with their shadows for a ridiculously long time), it's Saturday, I'm wearing my slippers, Mike is out grocery shopping for me (nice husband.), my apartment is clean & it smells delicious. It's a good day.

I saw these online and thought they looked like such pretty candles, they must smell even better. I want to get one now.
Have you heard of the Scentsy line of candles? I don't know if it's just a Utah thing or not. Nor do I know if the concept is unique to their brand... but the great thing 'bout them is that they are reusable indefinitely. They melt on top of a light bulb. Tough to explain. You can google it if you're curious, obviously. Do I sound like a sales consultant? I'm not. But every other person around here is, it seems. Like pampered chef and all those other multi-level marketing companies.

Anyways, I love candles too. It's great when you walk into someone's home and it smells fabulous. Except when they use a baked-good scent. That's just a mean tease.
Oh, I totally validate any candle purchase that is worth it. I also really love the Henri Bendel candles at B&B Works. They are pricey, but they really work (smell).
