Today it just wouldn't stop.

(It rained & it poured today.)

Friend Corinne & I had some tamales for lunch today on the Upper West Side. The thunder & lighting was so loud that I jumped in my chair. We sat in the restaurant (where this photo was taken from) for an extra half hour, waiting for it to let up before we ventured out.

It didn't.

We walked the four blocks to her apartment & got sort of soaked from the knees down.

I took a cab home.
