Apples.

We hopped in a car (well, we aren't exactly hopping anymore - we were ready to go, then decided that Quinn needed to eat, & then be changed - so, hopping took an extra 45 minutes) & went out to the 'burbs on Saturday. A beautiful day! A true fall day.

(Side note: Where did fall come from, anyway? I feel like September was a blur. Well, it was - the last 2 weeks anyway.)

We went back to Beardsley's Cider Mill & Orchard - a spot that we discovered with the Burtons last fall (& one of my happiest Burton-Whiting memories that I go back to visit in sad times). Erin was pregnant with Indie then, & this year I have brand-new Quinn. Time flies. Kind of.

Anyway.

Apples! They're pretty, & I had one for breakfast this morning & it was yummy (Jonagolds are still my favorite). It's sort of tough to manage a camera that's as big as your child + an actual child in a Bjorn, but that being said - I got some photos. Not so many of us, but so it goes when you don't have a personal photographer accompanying you everywhere you go.

We spent the rest of the afternoon breastfeeding / napping watching General Conference in New Canaan with Mike's parents & then zipped back into the city in time for Mike to make it to Priesthood Session.

Did I mention that Quinn is going through a growth spurt? He is, which essentially means that I want to gouge my eyes out. I'm hoping it passes quickly, as much as I love the new arm chub he's sporting. But let's focus on happier things, like fruit!
