Friend Erin sent Q his first pair of skinnies last week. He wore them yesterday & suddenly look like a boy. The fact that he just wants to stand on my lap or practice sitting up adds to his suddenly-grown-up state. Gone are the days of holding him like a baby. He's loving his bouncy seat & practicing in his Bumbo (although not using it unassisted quite yet). Long gone are the days of using the bassinet with his stroller, but we're not quite to full seat yet. The car seat popped on is a great in-between.
He likes stripes. Clearly.

i've decided it's better that i'm not there helping you get him to sleep through the night. those big, beautiful eyes and chubby cheeks in a sad face would make a lesser woman like me cave. okay, so... i think we're coming in may. pencil me in between those naps, will you? xo.
