In May.
(oops)
It was beautiful &we had a really fun time with my mom & dad. And someday, I'm going to write about how Quinn was scared of the water but then my mom talked him into it, & how he loved getting to spend so much time with Grandma & Grandpa, & how we ate really yummy shakes up in the mountains, took the ferry to St. John, had a really fabulous + fancy dinner & just relaxed - until a job offer from Houston came. May as well make big decisions on the beach, I suppose.
Also: I came back the same color. Babies are not conducive to sun tans, although I'm not a big fan of skin cancer either, so it all works out, I suppose.
I have a plane to catch. Like, running out the door right this second.
(See you in two weeks.)

Love all of the photos, they are making me long to be back at the beach. Its so great you were able to be there with your parents.
A two piece? I hate mothers like you. :) You are beautiful, and these photos, well, I am speechless. So perfect!
What a lovely vacation and how fun to spend it with you parents!
these are lovely. and i want all your swimwear. i wore the same suit in greece almost every day because all of a sudden my chest is the size of a 10 year old boy and nothing fits.
and your hat. i love. did you pack it? how did it not get crushed?
Perfect....it WAS lovely.
I want to make a few copies for my family brag board in the kitchen.
I LOVE this post. The photos are beautiful and my favorite one is of you sitting down at the shore with him on your laugh. Both your smiles are so genuine and real. I especially love photos of the mama with her baby.
Hope you are enjoying Europe! But, thanks for leaving us with these gorgeous photos too.
Yeah, these are such great photos. So happy and real. I love Q's smile. Way to rock the swim wear.
CUTE! so where are your now? We should play a game where in the world is Quinn!?
love these!
Where is your striped suit from? (Of course it was striped. Of course.) I love it- and the hat! You wear that so well. These photos are lovely and I fully agree that all big decisions should *always* be made when sitting on the beach.
Meg, striped suit is from Old Navy! A great find that my friend Whitney told me about this spring.
Hey!! Your blog is such an inspiration. Really, you motivate me to be cooler. haha I have a photo question. Which lens or lenses did you use for the picture of baby Q on the blanket sitting on the beach (first pic) and the pic of him laying on the cushion the porch. LOVE THEM!
