Our sweet friends Dustin & Lauren got married December 15th in Fredericksburg, a little town just outside of San Antonio. We made a quick 24-hour trip of it, leaving Q with our kind friends the Cannons back in Houston & taking just our littlest boy with us (it made for much easier travels, & we're grateful to them). We stayed at the same resort we were at last spring, but basically just slept there after the wedding & ate a quick breakfast before driving back home.
The wedding took place in a beautiful garden under the trees, with dinner amongst lots of lights under a tent. In December! It was lovely & perfect & happy, & I was so glad we were able to attend. I really love weddings (although nursing a baby comes with the downside of limited wedding attire options).
Our next trip to Fredericksburg will be during peach season. Can't wait.
