Hooray!

My BFF Alissa called me at 1:15am last night to give me some great news - She is engaged! I was groggy when she called, but am SO excited for her (and Ryley, too - lucky guy!). Alissa and I have been best friends ever since the dramatic days of 7th grade in Spokane. We ended up going to different high schools and then to colleges in different states, but we have always stayed close despite the not-so-convenient distance apart. She lives in Seattle and I never, ever get to see her... But I still love her. I'm so happy she's happy. Congrats!
