I don't have a topic. I haven't had time to think about a topic. I haven't had time to think about blogging over the past few days. Okay- I've thought about it, but mainly how I simply do not have the time to think about blogging right now. It's been a busy week. I'm taking the next 10 minutes & coming up for air. The bad news is that I already spent about 2 1/2 minutes of the allotted 10 trying to find the perfect picture from google images of someone "coming up for air". I think it was too tricky of a search for my current time constraints. I found a lot of whales. And turtles. Thus- a pictureless post.
Anyway- the highlight of my week {thus far, & don't forget the sarcasm} was the $2,437.23 discrepancy between my corporate Amex bill & the expense report I submitted last month. I just found out about it, via a scary email from Firm Accounting. That has been a headache- & there are no times for headaches this week. Luckily, I have an assistant sent directly from up above. After working together for about 2 hours today, we {she} figured it out. I need to get her something. Cupcakes maybe? I don't know, but I'm grateful. It was a nightmare.
I worked late last night, ate a mini-pizza by myself at my desk. Oh- & I've had a brief relapse into the Diet Coke "problem". I took a car home {a perk of late nights in the office} in lieu of the train & walking through Harlem by myself way past dark. I talked on my cell phone the whole way home. I'm sure my driver loved hearing me gab, but I hate the days that are so busy that I can't call my mom, my sister, or my best friend for a quick chat. I had to catch up with people.
Oh- and reading? It hasn't happened this week. I realize that "This Week's Commute" says that I'm reading Anna Karenina. Looks like I'm pretty ambitious, huh? I'm not. I got through the introduction, but I've been so tired on the train for the last 4 business days or so that I just haven't been able to read. I picked up an "Us Weekly" this morning just so I could feel like I was using my time somewhat productively. Did you know that grey is this season's color? Oh boy. I need to go shopping.
Time's up. Back to work.

I had been wondering where you were! I guess I am dependent on your frequent posts. Sorry about the crazy week. Good news is you are more than half way to the weekend.
I'm so glad you found the mistake! I have had whole days where I've had to search for missing $$$ as I do the accounting at Dad's office. Thank goodness I usually have Mary as my sidekick because we eventaully come to a discovery sooner rather than later, and we celebrate with yahoos and high fives which instantly relieve all the stress which had built. Tonight I feel like a balloon that has just been popped. Which is to say I am tired, and......deflated. Bummer of a day.
the new color is Grey :) too bad that is one of my least favorite colors or should I say lack of color.
I know. A little boring, right? The dresses they showed WERE cute though...
I thought I commented on this one alreay...
Anyway, I think that was one of my favorite things about public transportation - 1) read a book or 2) be too tired to do anything so just sit back and stare (and listen to music) and not have to drive.
I love grey.
Money discrepancies are always scary. Even (especially?) if it's your own finances! I'm glad that your miracle co-worker figured it out.
It sounds like you need another trip to somewhere outside the city. October (San Fran) is coming quickly. That will feel good!
