I went to Anthropologie & bought both. By no means am I keeping both {though I wish}, but I was simply too indecisive & by definition, was not able to make a decision. Here's the deal- the brown one is simply more pretty. It's more dressy, it fits with December better, & it is oh-so-pretty on. I really, really love it. Definitely my favorite. But- it requires some adjustments {see picture below}. The sheer cap sleeve just isn't going to make it. Any ideas? My mother the seamstress might be able to help out, but I'm not sure. A silky Shade Shirt might help, but it also might look ridiculous. On the other hand- the black dress is cute, flattering, fun & requires no adjustments or added layers. It would be much easier to match shoes with {the brown dress is really a silver-purple-brownish color}. I'm just stuck.
Or- the other options... I could just keep looking. When I told the nice Anthropologie ladies that the wedding wasn't until December, they lauded my desire to plan ahead. I should have just told them I wanted to rid myself of having anything additional on my to-do list & didn't want to deal with the anxiety!
I like this one, too.

You know I was wondering about the sleeves on that dress after I voted for it. I am not a huge fan of having to "layer" with dresses so I would understand you wanting to go with another dress.
Oh please go with the one on the left. I am sure the one on the right is great too, but that those dresses are all over the place. Too casual.
Ok this is just my opinion, Don't be mad.
I love the one on the left. I emailed with a seamstress today and she thinks she can do it (make it work w. g's). We'll see.
I love them all! The one on the left is SO pretty, though. And really unique. Can I have it when you get tired of it? :)
I really love the last one you posted. black with polka dots and yellow sash.
