I'm flying to Michigan this afternoon for a dinner/interview day at the University of Michigan. Mike was actually born in Ann Arbor {more or less}, while his parents were doing graduate work there. I think I've only been to Michigan once, on a trip to Mackinac Island when I was young enough that even a training bra was not required {I remember being jealous that Elizabeth got to wear one, but I didn't- that's one of my few memories of the trip. Weird}. Anyway- Ann Arbor is around the bottom of the thumb on the glove {people always describe Michigan as shaped like a glove...}, & for the next 24 hours or so... that's where I'll be.
.
I wish I had a fun story to tell, or something to pontificate upon, but it has been one of those weeks... just plain busy. I don't think I've gotten home before 9pm, & we won't even talk about my running {or lack thereof} schedule. Work has been great, but I'm tired. I could use a nap.
.
Oh- & it's going to be in the mid-80's this weekend. What happened to fall?!

I do keep hearing about the unusual warmth back east right now. That is crazy. Hopefully fall will hit you guys soon in al it's glory.
Seriously - Fall - What fall? We have had leaves turning, but all of a sudden it's stopped dead in its tracks, and I don't know what to expect. Darn it - Fall is such a glorious season of the year.
You guys have a really unique recruiting schedule for a hedge fund. I would never have guessed Michigan and Notre Dame...Cool places to visit.
We are crying for 80 degrees...supposed to be Valley Snow in the Wasatch this weekend.
Safe travels!
