I'm going to better at capturing the super cool music you can find underground in New York. These guys tonight were so great. I tried to get a longer segment, but the trains kept coming. Rush hour...
I love good subway music. There was a guy at 116th the other day playing the violin, and it was amazing. He played Rachmaninoff's Vocalise, which I think is one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of music. I am guessing he was a student at the Manhattan school of music playing for fun, and making a few bucks while he was at it. But I sure appreciated it on my way home, he got a buck from me.
