There are few things in life better than a perfectly hemmed pair of jeans {speaking superficially here, of course}. Not too short, not too long. It makes such a huge difference. The only problem is, I have quite a wide array of shoes. I wear flats, heels, kitten heels, sneakers & flip flops. I almost need to buy three pairs of my favorite jeans {currently Hudson's or Paige Denim} & have them all hemmed to different lengths to accomodate my shoes. Long jeans for when I wear jeans to work with heels. Short{er} jeans for when I just want to wear sneakers. I just got a pair back from the tailor last night- they are perfect to wear with my favorite flats, but I'll have to stick to another pair when I want to wear high heels. But I love these jeans. I want them to be more versatile. Sigh.

It's complicated being a girl. Mike doesn't have this problem.

Amen. I had to buy several pairs of dressy flats just so that I can wear my favorite jeans to work.
I have the same problem. And I don't see a solution anytime soon!
I have noticed my problem is I will get my jeans altered and then after a few washes they are too short. grrrr. I am left with some lovely floods but not in a cute and stylish way. i have resorted to wearing the same pair of flip flops day in and day out.
I have two pair waiting to be hemmed and I've been procrastinating because of this issue!
