Ellen.

My friend Bret posted this on his blog the other day, & it really struck me.
.
I've loved living in New York. I've especially loved living in Manhattan because it has exposed me to thoughts, ideas & people with which I was not previously familiar. I think that as I've been exposed to this diversity, my understanding has increased. I know people who are different. I appreciate their differences. I don't really care what the differences are, but I am a firm believer in tolerance, love & respect.
.
Hooray for Ellen.
