Us.
Bryan finally graduated- & by finally I mean that we're lucky that it didn't rain on the 2nd day like it did during the 1st attempt. Monday night would have been fairly disastrous it turns out, as a raging storm hit New Canaan right as graduation would have been wrapping up. Pictures would not have been pretty to say the least. We did have a nice dinner out on Monay night though, although the rain made my hair look less than lovely. Oh well. Anyway- graduation was nice, & the wide assortment of shoes was somewhat entertaining. I think I'm going to do a separate post on the variety of shoes that people wore (the boys seemed to favor the Connecticut standard of Sperry Top-Siders, while the girls went for the metallic gladiators or platforms; I also saw Crocs, lots of sneakers & flipflops, & even barefoot). Oh- & Jason (he's been living with the Whitings for the last 6 months, a la Fresh Prince of Bel Air, kind of) - he decided to go shirtless. It was fun to see everyone trying to be unique while wearing the same cap & gown as the rest of their class.
Bryan has been a good friend & brother to us. We like him quite a bit! I'm excited for him to head off to BYU in the fall, but also for us to spend some time with him this summer before he takes off. We'll have fun.
