Tara & I (+ Mike) are taking an online photography class together that starts today. I'm excited to finally learn all about things like aperture, bokeh, f-stop & depth of field.

I think this means that it's probably about time for me to read the instruction manual for my pretty new camera. It's been on my to do list for quite a while.

Oh - am I ever jealous...But the cool thing is that I get to benefit from your class in that I get to look at your pictures in the end. Yea!

That looks like the camera we just bought and are contemplating keeping (vs selling on ebay and making a few $$). What online class are you taking? I need tips if we're going to keep this thing.
Afton, it's a class through a site called Big Picture Scrapbooking. It's interactive in the sense that the instructor sends out daily emails, but then you are able to post pictures & have them critiqued, etc. Should be fun! And I love, love, love our camera (the Canon Rebel xti)- if only I knew what all the buttons/dials meant! I'm trying.
