Wow! That is scary if roofs are falling down, but I love a big snow. Two great New York memories were the blizzard of '06, and the winter of '04 when it got so cold and the rivers both froze over (I remember reading that people were walking across the East River)
It is so crazy here! Almost all roads are reduced to one lane. My street is now a one way. I went to Rosauers on the south hill tonight and it was closed for "safety reasons" They had 30 people on the roof shoveling the 4' of snow.

Beautiful & challenging. I remember a time in Utah when people were scraping their roofs with polls to prevent cave-ins.

oh yes, i can attest to the amount of snow there is! we just got home on monday. it is insane!
