We had a nice Thursday in Manhattan.

Kera & her friend Shaeli are in town & we had quite the day yesterday - think leaving the apartment at 10am & getting home around midnight. Don't make fun of me, but my legs are sore as a result. Today - it's 11am, & while I'm at work, Kera & Shaeli are still at home sleeping, per Mike. After the day we had, I can see why - & good for Kera, at 5+ months pregnant. I wish I were sleeping, too.

Thursday was a great day - brunch at Norma's, the outdoor holiday market at Columbus Circle, re-discovering Esprit at the Time Warner Center (I haven't been to that store since 4th grade, but it's back in the US & it's cute), with lots & lots of more shopping & walking throughout the day. We met Brad & Jill at Whym before going to see Ingrid Michaelson's Holiday Hop concert (Mike surprised me with tickets for my birthday back in October), finally making it back to our apartment around midnight. It was a long day, but so fun.
.

Treats.

Shops.

Columbus Circle.

Ingrid had new Scarlett Johansen blonde hair & big boobs to match (that she kept talking about - hilarious). My favorite moment was when she she described her ukulele as a she, explaining that it did, in fact, have a vagina - just in case any of us were wondering. She's funny. Ingrid, not the ukulele.

Ingrid + band + a really great choir. She didn't sing my favorite song as of late, but I did find a really sweet animated video that they put together for it.

Loved this view as we left the venue just off of Times Square.

(Thank you, thank you Kellie & J for the extra tickets. You're sweet friends.)

Sounds like you all had an amazing day! New York must be so beautiful around now! Andrew and I can't wait to come see you and Mike! I loved the photos by the way. I am only slightly jealous about the concert...I hope you enjoy the holidays. See you soon!

I loved Esprit growing up! Is it really back and cute? I wonder when it will be out west.

I went to Esprit in Hong Kong and bought a couple of shirts. I liked the style but was disappointed with the quality. Similar quality to H&M. Hopefully, it works out better for you.

alan bought me a couple things from espirit when he was in australia last year and i really liked them. it was kind of funny to say they were from espirit to people, because the last thing i owned from them was an oversized sweater in 4th grade or something.

no wonder your legs were sore -10am to midnight! wow.

I am still laughing about the ukulele and female parts; not to mention, its (aka her) huge crack. So very funny. Thanks for taking us to her concert. I have officially fallen in love with her music, and I appreciate the introduction to "Winter Song"

Esprit is where it's at. Just ask the employees.

Love the concert, thanks again.
