He's my Valentine.

It's official. I asked, & he said yes.
.

We celebrated on the 13th to avoid the crowds. We had a lovely candlelit dinner at Erminia. He surprised me with tickets to see Adele in May.
.
(I'm very, very excited.)

We ate crepes & sugar cookies for dinner today with friends (since Shake Shack, Levain & rich Italian food the day before wasn't enough gluttony for one weekend).
.
I love you so much, John Michael. Happy 4th Valentines Day as married love birds.

Hi Kathryn. I like to sneak a little look on your blog sometimes. There is always a gem to enjoy. You are a very articulate insightful young woman. Hmmm- could it possibly have started from that one special year that we met daily and without fail at 6AM!

What Louise said is so true.....Your pictures capture life in a unique and wonderful way - reminding me that even things most simple can be viewed as beautiful. One of the best things about your blog is that you will be able to look back on it and have the most amazing memory book ever!

Those sugar cookies look SO good. I always want to make sugar cookies for Valentine's for that exact reason and somehow I get scared that they are a harder cookie to make (but are they?)
