We had a lovely time, despite my apparent allergy to Cherry Blossoms.
I took over 600 photos (oops). I'm not quite sure where to begin.
(We went to several of the Smithsonians including the National Portrait Gallery & the National Museum of American History, The Newseum, The National Archives, The Old Post Office Tower, Library of Congress, The Holocaust Memorial Museum, The Capitol, Washington National Cathedral, Georgetown + Georgetown Cupcake, Potbelly Sandwiches, The Lincoln + Jefferson + Roosevelt + WWII Memorials, Old Town Alexandria, The Mall, Larry's Cookies, The Eastern Market & then walked around the Cherry Blossom Festival + the entire Tidal Basin with 75,000 other tourists, among other things. I loved it all.)

Oh, I'm so excited tos ee them all! Those blossoms in the background against the blue sky looks gorgeous.
FUN TRIP!!! Amazing photo! I can't wait to see more!
Whew!!!! I'm exhausted just thinking about it!
I LOVE Eastern Market, and the Memorials....all of them. I was particularly suprised how much I enjoyed the Roosevelt.....Read ever single word. The others are, as always magnificent. I hope we're not losing sight of how they really define our country and what it was meant to be. They are all so moving.
One of my favorite places.
Fun! I can't wait to see more pics/hear more about it. Pretty pic!
the blurry/pink blue background is my new favorite.
One of the biggest things I miss about work is that I was in DC every year the day before/first day of cherry blossom peak, staying at the Fairmont for a conference on work's dime. I would skip out of some afternoon sessions and walk down to the Tidal Basin.
