The District.

Just got back from a lovely little weekend in Washington (DC) with friend Erin, visiting sister-in-law Cara & exploring the District a bit. Erin & I ate 7 (seven!) cupcakes between the two of us, amongst other things - none of which included vegetables. We did however get see Orin Hatch talk to himself for a really long time in the Senate chamber, & felt right back at home when we saw a man peeing on the sidewalk (after a relative drought of seeing homeless people on the street - DC is so clean). There was also a lot of walking + good food involved, not to mention attending a single's ward for the first time in almost 5 years.

Maybe I'll post some more photos tomorrow. In the meantime, think about how pretty these ice skaters were at the sculpture garden & listen to this song. It's a favorite of mine, & the Colonial 1st Ward did a beautiful rendition of it at their Christmas program on Sunday.
