It's cold, rainy, snowy - & for good measure I suppose - windy today. 4pm & it's dark outside already. Pitch black. Our first real day of winter (shudder). But that's okay, because Mike came home with a Christmas tree this morning (!!), we pulled out our box of decorations from under our bed (NYC storage space), we made hot chocolate mid-day just for fun, & we're getting together with a few friends tonight to kick off December. Happy, happy.

Christmas in the city is the best! Wish I could be there! I don't think we ever had a tree when we lived there. I always wanted to get one from one of those street places though...
I loved watching the snow fall, but then we had to trek across town with the stroller in it. It will be okay, right?
