Remember when I saw the flute-playing Wolf Santa? Turns out he's quite the multi-talented musician. I was waiting to meet up with Jill & Kelsey on the 68th Street subway platform when I noticed the giveaway heart & American flag. I listened to them play for a minute & then asked the man in the sequined hat if his friend ever wore a wolf mask. Yeah, he's the wolf man! Lenny (as he introduced himself) & I had a nice chat, I snapped some photos, & exchanged emails (I told him I'd send my photos). Turns out they play at a jazz club in Harlem every Thursday night, too. I'm tempted to go. And the big reveal? The wolf man will likely make an appearance on Superbowl Sunday, & maybe even Valentine's Day - probably at 14th Street. Such interesting people in New York, & every so often - it's fun to talk to strangers.
Really, really nice guys. Their music was great. My video skills on the other hand are shaky. The manual focus is hard to master, & I think I focused on the wall vs. the two of them (but the cool thing about HD video on an SLR - depth of field! It's so interesting to play with...). My attempt:
