This little project has been on my to do list since, oh, the end of May. The stress!! The measuring!! I was getting especially antsy last weekend at having so many frames sitting around my apartment, leaning up against the wall. I finally committed some serious time to getting this done, with the help of nice friends & the beauty of photo text messaging.
So, here is it. I'm so happy it's done (it's almost exactly like I did in our last apartment - but different).
It's not perfect, & I still need to wiggle things a little bit, but overall - it fits my simple taste & style - & I like it. AND - I did it all by myself. Pat on the back & a round of applause, please.
Project 2.0 is replacing a few of the photos & swapping out the matting in a few frames. And finding some new pillows for the couches (maybe). Maybe next week.
*Actually, I still have approximately 4,576 things to do on my list, which is now happily organized within a tidy little excel file on my desktop.
(Photo of the Manhattan Temple from Jon Moe via The Mormon Artist Group * Photographs of us: Kylie Nixon Photography * Pray print: Kantan Designs (white frame: Kate's Paperie) * Silhouette of us: I just edited the contrast of a photo from the dock at Priest Lake * The W: Anthropologie * Both floral frames: Anthropologie * Large black frames: Pottery Barn * Small black frames: Target Clock: Ikea)
