26 days until Christmas. Excuse me? How did that happen?
I turned on Pandora to Folk Holidays last night & we put up just a few small things, including this garland of little knitted mittens that I'm just in love with. The tree will be put up tonight (purchased from one of the sidewalk lots in our neighborhood), & then the real fun begins. Holiday markets, tree lighting ceremonies, the Christmas trees at the museums, Rockefeller Center, window displays, hot chocolate, shopping, lots of jingle bells - & people just generally in a more friendly, cheery mood. I love it all. Christmas in New York City really is just absolutely perfectly magical. Although cold. Very, very cold.
Hopefully we'll get some snow like last year. Q's snowsuits are all ready to go.
