I guess Quinn kind of had a non-costume. I mean, he was a Lion. We were observant. But he basically wore velour jammies with a lion hat & some lion slipper (that we almost immediately took off, because they were too big + floppy for his little feet). But he was a cute lion, & it was a baby-appropriate costume, I think. And he was well behaved for most of the festivities.
The lighting on the 5th floor of our church building is basically the most disgusting light, & I'm quite certain that I'm the worst custom white balancer, ever. Green-tinted photos are gross. Someone buy me an external flash, pronto. Oh well.
Friend Jill left the city Sunday night. Forever. Kind of breaks my heart, but at least we got a photo together Saturday night (albeit blurry) + a few of Wyatt. And we'll see each other again, hopefully somewhere warm & tropical. Okay. I don't want to talk about this any more (saying goodbye on Sunday was a bit traumatic), although I'll be back in a bit - someday - to share some of the family photos I quickly took of them the other day.
Photos of our lion. I think he's perfect (& Mike was so proud to be showing him off, clearly).

I'm sad for you and Jill. One day (maybe in heaven?) we'll all live on the same street. It'll be awesome.
I looks like Mike is reenacting the Lion king, Quinn being little Simba. I LOVE IT!
