Lounging (cont).

These are for you, Mom. Remember those first few days when I thought that Quinn was maybe going to have to starve to death (or just enjoy formula) because breastfeeding was just about killing me? We've clearly sorted out our initial issues.

It's not possible for a baby to get too chubby, right? His thighs seems to be gaining inches by the day & his cheeks! You'd think he was storing milk away as a secret snack in case I decide to suddenly withhold food.

Speaking of my mother. My parents are coming! Again! This will mark the zillionth time (3rd, officially) they've seen Quinn since his birth which means so much to us, especially given that they live - um - 2,177 miles away. That's love + effort, right? I love that they love Quinn. I love that they'll make the effort to see him even though we live so very far away & in a teensy little place that maybe isn't the most comfortable. It's expensive, it's time consuming & it's clearly not convenient to get to New York, but the effort that they make to see our little boy - it's wonderful, & I'm grateful, especially since he's  #16 on their list of grandchildren. Every time they've come Q has changed so much, but they've been able to witness it, & that is priceless. This trip will clearly be no exception. See you in a week!
