In a week & a half, anyway. Mike really, really hates the suit I picked out for Q (he calls them man panties, I call them fashion forward), but that's okay! Besides, he looks quite pleased with him self, as would I if I looked that good in a swimsuit. Really, I think that all little boys belong in Euro swimsuits. Next year's suit already has me planning beach trips.
(PS - I have no idea what to do with a baby on a beach. Any tips on beach tents, sunscreen, etc? What am I missing??)

I've had this very suit bookmarked for months now, but I've been wondering what it looks like on; adorable, just as I suspected/hoped. Pretty sure my husband will protest as well.
the man panties/fashion forward comment just made me lol in the hotel room. for the record, i think quinn looks great. at least it's not a speedo, right?
beach + baby = a breeze. even moreso when they aren't crawling (he isn't...right?) he will be enamored with the sand and a shovel no doubt. yay for vacations!

when cole was just 2 months, we went to visit brad's parents in hawaii for a couple of weeks and brought our phil & teds travel cot. the mesh top zips closed and is spf and it worked perfectly for naps on the beach (because missy is right- that breeze makes for calm babies).
oh, and I really liked the MD Moms sunscreen towelettes. I think I've seen them at giggle (?) and even babies r us.
I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with anything Mike has 'said' on this blog - I absolutely love those trunks!! (do you use that word in the US for boys swimsuits? We call them trunks over here!). Anyways, I think he looks darling and I he will absolutely love the beach!
babies on beaches just make me think of sand in really uncomfortable places. but the hot pants are just begging to be showcased. i can't wait for pictures.
