I'm alone. In the suburbs.

And let me tell you, it's scarier than the city ever was. There is most certainly a gang of very terrible people hanging out in the bushes in our backyard plotting to do very terrible things to me, waiting to bust through the windows when (if!) I walk downstairs. This means that I am still awake, of course. Upstairs. I should be sleeping.

The suburbs are scary.

But my baby! Look! He's so grown up, & handsome + happy. Happy, happy, happy!

(I'll be a lot happier once ADT shows up to install our alarm system.)

Alarm systems are life savers. Seriously!

I hate, hate being home alone in a big empty house. Hopefully it's not for too long?

As always, I'm in love (literally) with your photos.

Q is adorable. Seriously, cutest and happiest. He makes me baby hungry!

Being home along is scary - and with no neighbours above and below, especially!

I submit that the suburbs are freaky at night. To this day if I ever have to go out at night when I am at my parent's house I check the backseat of the car just to be sure.

And Quinn is cute.

it will hurt me if you don't let me babysit, okay? that face. i'm in love with him and want him to love me. or, at the very least, like me if i give him food. three cheers for pajama'ed babies!

having a lot of windows/doors is freaky, especially when by yourself. adt to the rescue.

Your little boy looks like he is ready to graduate from high school in these pictures.

And yes, I concur the burbs are scary. More spaces, more quiet, less people... security systems are good for easing the mind.

Or you do live in the South now, so you can go sign up to get your concealed carrier permit.

(Kidding.)

(Sort of.)
