Mike is taking the entire week off of work. It's like our summer, all over again! It's happy for all three of us. Happy for Q because having mama + Dad at the same time is SO EXCITING, happy for me because I get to sleep in on occasion (this morning! lovely), & happy for Mike because he gets to relax & avoid airplanes for 9 days straight.
Q was a sad boy yesterday. So much snot coming out of his nose. And it's green! It's like a Ghost Busters movie over here. We are huge fans of the NoseFrida (thank you, Carly - a lifesaving recommendation last winter) & Boogie Wipes around here.
We decided that we all needed to get out yesterday afternoon, even though it was what I have come to consider freezing (50˚). We bundled Q in his new coat from Grandma Jan (Mike: Gloves!! He needs gloves!!), walked outside with a sad boy who just wanted to cuddle, gave him a little pep talk explaining to him that it was a perfect afternoon for a family walk, & then went on our merry + happy way for the next hour+, wandering around the park & through the neighborhoods surrounding our home. We really like where we live. General happiness is up by at least 10% this week.

oh, erin said it. "effortlessly lovely." what a pretty, pretty girl you are, k. and i'd like to come run around your little lake again soon. lastly, mark your calendar for saturday, february 4th. i am making you come down when we launch new music and chore at my gym. it will be huge.

Devin took all week between Christmas and Years off as well. I'm dreading Tuesday. It's been awesome.
