The funny thing is that when we purchased our home, we didn't really even care that much that there was a park right across the street. I mean, I'm sure we knew that eventually it would probably be nice, but when we were deciding between a few homes we didn't really even bring the park into the decision making process. We clearly have so much to learn, but we still had a little baby who wasn't really a mobile human being quite yet, so it just wasn't in our sphere of reality. And now, we're like OH MY GOSH there's the park 50 feet from our front door. And there's a lake & ducks & grass & swings that are basically always open, plus lots of fresh air for those days - like the other day - when it was cold & rainy & the walls were closing in on us. We made a break for it when the skies cleared up a bit, & it was good for all three of us.
This boy (mostly) loves to swing.
