Saturday.

I finally ordered a BOB. I guess it was sort of a necessary purchase for our new entrenchment in the 'burbs, especially since I registered to run a half marathon this spring. Treadmills make me sad, & The Woodlands has miles & miles of running trails to explore. Anyway - we set it up this morning & decided to go on a family walk over to the YMCA that is a mile or so away from our house. There was a nice little craft fair, a bouncy castle, some barbecue, & of course - Santa.

Remember last year's visit to Santa in Portland? We still laugh about that.

It would be rude of me to mention that it was 75˚ & I was hot in my long-sleeved tshirt, but seriously? I'm really happy about Houston this week.
  1. Weather. It's amazing.
  2. My BOB. I really love it. I'm going to run super fast with it. It's big, but I have a garage to put it in!
  3. Trader Joes. The first Houston-area store is officially opening this spring APPROXIMATELY 6 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE. And I don't even have to carry it home! I can put it in my trunk. My eyes got all stingy when I read the news. Happy, happy!
Hello, December! That came quickly.

(He was happier than he looked. Just a little sleepy! Transitioning to one nap is fun for all involved!)

Mrs. Clause = super creepy, & obviously in desperate need of some of the attention that Santa was getting. She kissed Q's cheek, which was thoroughly disinfected as soon as we got the chance.

Cohen DOES NOT want to look at the picture of Mrs. Clause. You are right - she is super creepy!

Oh my gosh! The photo of Quinn looking up at Santa (think it's the 3rd from the bottom?) is priceless! What a great photo!

Yay! You have a BOB! We need to go running now..I'll just get over this little bout with pneumonia and we'll be good to go:) We were going to do the Creekside thing yesterday and I wish we would have (NOT for the Mrs. Claus:)- that is a great Santa! Your son is adorable and you are adorable.

why has no one said anything about santa's belt buckle?

q--i'm very proud that you held it together while sitting on the lap of a bearded man.

I was going to make note of the belt buckle and just how legit Santa looked...and then I saw Mrs. Claus and that sort of stole that attention. Creep is right!

So excited for your BOB! And it looks so new, padded and clean:)
