West and I were following Q as he was scootering around the park the other day when he stopped and said, Mom! These flowers are so beautiful! We sat there for a few minutes examining their purple-ness and beauty and then continued on our way. Funny boy.
Halloween was quick and we recycled costumes last minute (I returned the overpriced although cute options from Pottery Barn - a decision brought about by a sudden sense of practicality, which doesn't show up very often). Quinn mostly refused to wear his fox hat or to participate in photos, and West was sleepy and mellow. We visited the homes of a few neighbors, saw the Halloween house down the street (a fun neighborhood tradition) and got the boys in bed by a decent hour.
(Plus a few randoms - Like how Quinn is always insisting now to give West milk to drink, and when he protests it's, West!! Just drink it!! West!!!! Also, West is loving the swing these days. I think he's happy to just get to participate in something. He's getting frustrated about his lack of mobility, and the park isn't really his happy place right now, except for the swings.)
