I ordered this table yesterday. Small enough for a NYC-sized apartment, large enough to seat 4 comfortably, and inexpensive enough that I don't feel bad about it (thanks, Target!). The chairs are next. I think I like this one from Ikea. Apparently I like black.

cute. very cute. Table is from Target and chairs, Ikea? my theory with furniture is: don't pay too much unless you can pay a lot for quality.
Missy- Target actually has really cool furniture. I was out in New Canaan a few weeks ago and complimented someone on a Pottery Barn looking hutch in their living room. Yup- Target. The shipping on the table was free, and the reviews were good. I'm not about to spend a lot of money (to your point, Kelli) on something that I might only use for a few years. I'm excited about it. :)
