The world will feel like a sauna today, as high temperatures and heavy humidity combine to create a hot, sticky atmosphere for the New York City area and surrounding suburbs.But today and tomorrow, the thermometer will exceed 90 degrees, and the humidity will make it feel more like 100 in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties. A heat advisory has been issued for New York City from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.
