Plan B.

I spoke with my local Team in Training coordinator yesterday. She has me totally sold. I'll raise some money for a good cause, & they will get me a spot & train me for my San Francisco marathon. Did I mention that they will pay for my flight & accommodations as well? I'm in. Mike's birthday yesterday put an extra bit of emphasis on my own mortality. I need to start checking off my to-do list, & "Run a marathon by 30" is up there.
.
Running for my train this morning left me a bit winded. Is this going to be a problem? Looks like it's time to hit the park again.

Wait, are they good hotels? And how do they do that? That's incredible, either way. I used to always see them training when I was part of a track club in San Diego -- I think they do a good job and you have so much support along the way.

I'm so happy that you figured out another way to get in.

I'm telling you, New York 2009. We can do it together. I hear it's rough, but totally worth it.
