Attended a magnificent concert.
Had brunch with friends on a sunny Saturday morning.

Are these with your new camera, I assume? I LOVE them all. Do you shoot on manual only? They're beautiful. And I'm eating a chocolate chip cookie as I write this. Yum.

Missy, I love shooting on manual - but only when I have time to mess up a few times & adjust. :) I use AP a lot (aperture priority- maybe different on a Nikon, I think?), because I can play with the aperture & ISO, but it will set the shutter speed automically - which means I have a well-exposed picture most of the time with not a whole lot of effort.

I took all three with my 50mm (my favorite lens these days).

1st - AP, f/1.8, ISO 400 (it was at night, & our apartment was dim).
2nd - Auto (no flash). We were at a concert with a bunch of people, & the crowds were starting to come in so I had to be fast - I only had one chance.
3rd - I was sitting with back back to a window, & it was BRIGHT - I couldn't even see the photo in my viewfinder after I was done, so I just hoped that it turned out. AP, f/2.0, ISO 100.
