Bedford Avenue.

Friend Amy & I adventured to Williamsburg today (the Brooklyn one, not the Virginia one), & loved it. Capitals for extra emphasis: LOVED it.

The day included a dead body (!), fresh lemonade, the biggest vintage / consignment shop I've ever seen, lots of sunshine (I carried my yellow jacket instead of wearing it), strawberries + whipped cream, pretty shoes, & the most wonderful little boutiques. Oh, & bicycles. Lots & lots of bicycles. I'm smitten.

Photos + stories tomorrow. I'm busy baking

(One of my favorite parts of the day was when our waiter laughed at me for taking a photo of my beautiful brunch. Amy's quick defense on my behalf - She blogs.)

I am glad you kept that yellow jacket after all. I thought it was darling and I am sure it makes you smile every time you see it.
