This is How the Story Goes, or, The Night We Almost Saw a Met's Game.

Went to Citi Field for a Met's game with friend Tim, hoping that they rain would let up for 7 innings.

(Mike wore his Yankee's hat.)

Stood in the not-very-long-line for Shake Shack (Citi Field is amazing - best food ever).

Paid close attention to the very, very grey sky.

Ate dinner in our seats. Felt a few sprinkles.

Sky turned black.

Rain began to fall (quickly).

Ran for cover.

Noticed that the outlook looked quite grim.

Watched the dugouts empty.

They sent us home. Before the first pitch.

At least we got to see the new stadium & have a fun dinner.

Best game ever. A beautiful stadium, killer food, great views - and no boring baseball to ruin the mood!

PS - Go Citi!

So funny that you even went. We had tickets too but alas, they are still in Ram's wallet. I really want to go though, especially for the food and to see the new stadium~
