Our fifth summer in New York & we finally made it to the US Open. Lots of fun & perfect weather, although my new & bright watch tan line proves that maybe sunblock was actually required. The crowds were large but polite, & the food ridiculously overpriced but actually quite good (we avoided the $8 cracker jacks & went for the savory & sweet crepes instead). The matches that we were able to watch were exciting (especially Oudin's match, which we watched on the big screen). So fun to be there.

we cheered oudin on from blt burger (been there? pretty good). i wondered if you were cheering her on from the stands. go oudin!!
Glad you guys made it this year! That was one of my favorite NYC events :)
