The Hamptons in November.

Perfect fall weather, perfectly quiet. I'm convinced that the Hamptons are best in crowd-free November. Our favorites? Tate's Bake Shop in Southampton was recommended by one of Mike's colleagues & it was amazing (especially the sour cream coffee cake muffin I had). The lighthouse in Montauk was beautiful, & the sunset was spectacular. We had lunch at an Italian restaurant (where, Mike?) that was authentic & yummy - with the biggest meatballs I've ever seen. The homes? The hedges? The dunes? Everything was so beautiful.

We did a lot of jumping (!) & laughing, & eating - & I loved that my parents loved taking photos as much as I did. The last sunset photo? It's my dad's. He's good with a camera. Pretty.

Let's go back soon.

I love the pic of you guys in front of the lighthouse in sepia tones. Looks like a magazine! We LOVED the Hampton's when we went in September & I can't wait to go back again. Also - I LOVE jumping pictures. They are the most fun.

beautiful. everything. reminds me of delaware too. love those dunes right along the beach - so different than west coast beaches.

oh man, coffee cake is delicious.
