It's fun getting dressed up & going out. We went & saw The Nutcracker last night at Lincoln Center, & even though we sat in the nosebleeds, it was pretty. I love the music, although I think I could have done without the first 30 minutes. But I'm glad that we went, & happy that Mike was a nice husband to take me.
Minor celebrity sighting of the evening: Rick Fox (Laker alum) & his girlfriend in line in front of us. I couldn't remember her name for the life of me until the girl next to us englightened me. Eliza Dushku. Bring it On? Buffy the Vampire Slayer? For 5 minutes I thought maybe she was in my program at BYU. Oops.
I'm happy with our tree sightings this year. Rockefeller Center. Washington Square Park. Lincoln Center. We're probably still missing a few, but overall - I think this has been our very best December ever.

You are beautiful - and a very handsome couple too. I love your date night outfit and the Nutcracker sounds wonderful. I hope to make it a mother/daughter tradition once Adelaide is old enough. Merry Christmas, Whitings!
ps. I love all the Christmas things you have done around New York! What a fun month!
I can't believe you didn't get mauled by an usher for taking a picture during the performance. Bold move, KW, bold move.
you look adorable. are those your purple argyle tights you were talking about? lovely :)
Mike looks nice with his scruff. And you always look pretty. I thought of you when I was Anthropologie today--as much as I hate that it has become so mainstream, it sucks me in every time. And right now, THE ENTIRE STORE IS ON SALE.
The first 30 minutes of the Nutcracker is beat. They should just cut it out. Seriously.
Lovely Lovely!! I heart NYCB's GB Nutcracker!! Incredible costuming - and the ballet is pretty good too. haha! :) Merry Christmas to you both! I heart this city.
I always thought I was pretty up to date on my celeb gossip but as far as I was concerned Rick Fox was still married to Vanessa Williams- whoops! He seems way too old for Eliza Dushku.
Anyway, enjoy your holiday back east!
