(We went on a tour of the Capitol, had a fantastic meal at Founding Farmers, ate a ridiculous amount of cupcakes [Baked & Wired beats Georgetown Cupcake hands down], saw the National Christmas Tree + the Capitol Christmas Tree, ate at Potbelly's [twice], walked around the Mall, watched the ice skaters at the Sculpture Garden, shopped through Georgetown & crashed every night from exhaustion. Did I mention that Erin's having a baby in about four weeks? Good times. By the way, why does the NYC subway system not subscribe to this system of escalators everywhere like DC does? Brilliant, yet so obvious. I think we have like, maybe three in New York.)

i want to frame that picture of my founding farmers meal. i'll dream about that for a long time.
Can I come next time? I absolutely love Washington DC. It looks like you had beautiful weather - That surely makes it all the more enjoyable. Great pictures of some of my favorite things.
Fun to see Washington at Christmastime! Thanks for the great pictures.
DC might be one of my favorite places on earth. I went every year until I graduated college. Love, love that place.
I think I could live quite comfortably in Georgetown someday;)
