My early Christmas gift to you.

I happen to really love the Christmas album that I put together this year - heavy on the classics with mellow arrangements + a few moderns by some of my very favorites. Want to know what's on it? Well, Merry Christmas! Here you go:

  1. Carol of the Bells - The Bird and the Bee
  2. The Holly and the Ivy - Erin Bode
  3. Frosty The Snowman - Fiona Apple
  4. Angels We Have Heard On High - Folk Angel
  5. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Hem
  6. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - Jack Johnson
  7. Auld Lang Syne - Ingrid Michaelson, Greg Laswell Lenka, Joshua Radin & friends
  8. Winter Wonderland - Kate Havnevik
  9. O Holy Night - Leigh Nash
  10. Silent Night - Low
  11. Silver Bells - Martin Sexton
  12. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town - Mason Jennings
  13. My Dear Acquaintance - Regina Spektor
  14. All That I Want for Christmas (Is to Give My Love Away) - The Rescues
  15. Winter Song - Sara Bareilles & Ingrid Michaelson
  16. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Sarah McLachlan
  17. Lo How a Rose E'er Blooming - Sufjan Stevens
  18. Once In David's Royal City - Sufjan Stevens
  19. O Holy Night - Sufjan Stevens
  20. Emmanuel - Tori Amos
  21. Good King Wenceslas - Tori Amos

What's your favorite? I wouldn't be opposed to a Volume II.

Nobody sings The Christmas Song like James Taylor. Classic.

And I hate to admit it, but the Carpenter's Christmas album is the BEST ever. Simply beautiful mix of instrumentals and her amazing vocals.

I love Christmas songs & your list had many I hadn't heard!

Some of my favorites include:
James Taylor "Santa Claus is coming to town"
Nancy Wilson "That's what I want for Christmas"
Willie Nelson & Norah Jones "Baby it's cold outside"

Don't you just love this time of year?!
