The sun came out on Saturday & hasn't gone away yet! Such a nice change from our recent week of slush. Although given that it's March in New York, it will likely snow a foot again next week. Oh well.
We're trying to enjoy it in the meantime, because the weather is just happy & almost immediately wipes away the grimy feeling that always comes with winter. You can literally feel the mood of 8 million New Yorker's lift when the sun comes out & the weather hits the 50's for the first time in spring. Mike & I decided to take advantage & walk across the park to Shake Shack Saturday afternoon, stopping to play in Bethesda Fountain along the way. The sun was out, the park was beautiful, & it was just perfect. Our first walk through the park together this year, I think.
The weather + warmer temps definitely has me thinking pink. I brought out my favorite spring coat from the back of the closet, my brightest pink shoes & stopped at Sephora so that I could wholeheartedly jump on the pink lipstick for spring train. I promise not to wear the entire combination every day.
Today - currently 59˚. 59˚!! It's amazing. I'll take it.

Isn't it wonderful! I LOVE those shoes. And I didn't realize it until you mentioned it, but I have worn pink two days in a row. A total first this year for me.
The weather makes such a difference, doesn't it. I still need to come to NYC to try Shake Shack. And I love your shoes!

I'll agree that 59 is pretty amazing. Maybe you can cross your fingers and hope that there's no more snow:)
